Shivansh Khera is a student at Pathways School Noida with a growing interest in history, culture, and the stories that shape the places and communities around us. His connection to textiles is more personal than academic. He has grown up around Bharat Carpet Manufacturers, his family’s textile business, and has seen first-hand the people, patience, and craftsmanship that sit behind something as simple as a finished carpet.

The company has been part of his family for five generations. As the fifth generation, Shivansh knows that one day he will have a role in carrying that legacy forward. For him, understanding that legacy means looking beyond the business itself. It means learning about the artisans who make the work possible, the traditions they carry, and the knowledge that has been passed down alongside the company.

WeWeave grew from that curiosity. It is Shivansh’s small way of looking more closely at the world he has grown up around and learning from the people who have shaped it. Through their stories, he hopes to understand the craft more deeply today so that he can contribute to its future more thoughtfully tomorrow.
